Landlords Guide to Letting
Your Questions Answered:
Q1: What does the rent cover?
Answer: Unless otherwise stated, the rent is exclusive of all outgoing for which you are not responsible (e.g: council tax, water rates, gas, etc).
Q2: What type of contracts do you use?
Answer: Assured Short Hold Tenancy, which is fixed term tenancy allowing the landlord an absolute right to recover possession once the fixed term has run out; provided that the correct procedure has been followed.
Q3: Should I have an Inventory?
Answer: We strongly recommend that you have a professional inventory of your property arranged. This will help avoid any disputes between you and your tenants at the end of the tenancy.
Inventories are not included in our Property Management Service. We can arrange an inventory, from as little as £100+VAT – a small price to pay.
Q4: What is property management?
